Anyone who knows the Pantiles in Tunbridge Wells will know exactly where this painting originated. The cookware specialist shop - Trevor Mottram Ltd - has an amazing display of traditional cookware and I couldn't resist this as a subject. Painting it was another matter altogether. At 30" x 40" it took several weeks to complete, and I was amazed at the depth of reflections within the image I was working from. The original is available at ₤1800, and prints are available in various sizes and formats.
