The March issue of 'the Artist' has featured a four-page article on my work, along with a step-by-step demonstration of how to achieve the effect of water with oils and a palette knife with one of my favorite pictures - the recent 'rainy window' painting - published in varying stages of completion. Also, following encouragement from my printers Kate and Andy, I have started a facebook 'Shane Record Paintings' page, on which I put some of the things I am working on and my ideas for paintings which people can comment on.
